14.6 mile Time Trial Date: Saturday 9th February 2008 Time: First rider off at 14:00 HQ: Colgate village hall. Entry Fee: £7.00 (payable to Crawley C.C.) Closing date: 29th January 2008 Course: Start in Faygate village outside timber yard, proceed to Rusper village and then into Newdigate village. Continue on same road into Parkgate, at T-Jct turn left back to Rusper. Continue on same road to finish opposite the start point. This is a sporting type course with rolling hills and a couple of long drags. The event is split into 4 different abilty categories with prizes for the first 3 in each. There will also be prizes for the quickest Lady, Juvenile and Junior plus the first 2 teams of 3. The event will be sponsored by  Ingear Cycle Sport of Uckfield. This is a round of the Reynolds/Michelin National junior road race series. The course is a 7.3 mile loop with a 2 mile climb to the top of Beachy Head. Course details   Beachy Head, Sussex   Location: 2 miles South West of Eastbourne.   Course Details: From East Dean Village Hall proceed South along Gilberts Drive/Birling Gap Road.  Turn left (M) into Beachy Head Road.  Turn left (M) into East Dean Road (A259).  Turn left (M) into Gilberts Drive to complete circuit.   Lap Distance: 7.3 miles – 11.7 kilometres.   Finish Point 1: 100 yards beyond second car park after The Birling Gap Hotel.   Headquarters 1: East Dean Village Hall, Sussex.

GHS Cycling Time Trials London South Heat Date: Saturday 12th July 2008 Time: 10:00 HQ: Roebuck Inn, Laughton. Distance: 5.2 miles Entry fee: £2.00 (Payable to 'CTT') Closing Date: 1st July 2008 Please send entries on CTT GHS enrty forms to Ric Jamieson, 17 West Street, Fernhurst, Haslemere, Surrey, GU27 3JR. The George Herbert Stancer Championship is the national Schoolboy/girl 10mile Time trial Championship. Each region of the country has a qualifying heat of which the first 3, first team, first girl and first in each age group qualify for the final which is held later in the season. The London South heat is only 5.2 miles long but still enables qualification to the 10mile final. The course is very safe for youngsters and will be extremley well signed and marshalled.
